While attending Northwestern University as a law student, she led a research group to Cuba for two months to “study the effects of the dual economy on race relations.” So, admire the hot body of Candace Smith all you want (and it is worth admiring)—just remember to admire her brains, too! Somewhere in there she decided to add acting to her already full plate, and started by getting giggles in 2004 episodes of The John Henson Project and Method & Red. Candace played to type as the cute or sexy or hot girl on primetime in the shows Entourage, Joey, Friday Night Lights, and Heroes, and showed off her round and ripe twosome as Naomi in the comedy film Beerfest (2006). Elsewhere on the big screen, you can see the star in more mainstream fare, playing Sharice in End of Watch(2012) with Jake Gyllenhaal and Anna Kendrick, as Roxie in The Babymakers (2012) with Olivia Munn, playing Marie Abeanni in Gimme Shelter (2013) with Vanessa Hudgens and Rosario Dawson, and hanging out with David Spade in the Netflix comedy The Wrong Missy (2020), where she played Camille.
